According to the company, its G4 PHOENIX Combustion Analysis System comes with an infrared furnace to determine diffusible hydrogen.
Many metal fabrication industries make use of diffusible hydrogen measurements to optimise their processes. The manufacturer claims its machine can determine the diffusible hydrogen in a range of material and matrices.
The infrared furnace is said to be quick heating, and can analyse samples up to 220g in mass. It can be calibrated with a gas calibration unit equipped with ten different volumes. Most samples can be analysed within 20 to 40 minutes.
