Cold-treated drills longer lasting

The drills also have a 137 degree self-centering split point. KIMBALL Midwest has released a line of cryogenically processed drill bits said to provide durable drilling through high-tensile materials such as steel.
The Cryo-Maxx drills undergo an extreme cooling process over 24 hours. According to the company, this makes enables the bits to create better quality holes for longer.
The drills also have a 137 degree self-centering split point. This eliminates the need for centre punching, because the drill is prevented from walking or wandering while in operation.
