EXAIR has released a compact vacuum for cleaning up metal chips and other dry materials from machining.
According to the company, its Mini Chip Vac System can be used to clean chips from fixtures, floor and work surfaces of machining centres, lathes, saws, mills and other industrial equipment.
The cyclonic action created by the compressed air vacuums the chips into an included container. Dusty materials like absorbents are trapped by a 0.1 micron filter bag.
The unit includes no motors, reducing clogging problems and maintenance.
