Conference on coupled instabilities in metal structures

The conference will bring together academics, researchers and metal working practitioners to look at and analyse the stability and design of metal structures, particularly in steel, stainless steel and aluminium.SYDNEY will be hosting the Fifth Conference on Coupled Instabilities in Metal Structures on 23 to 25 June 2008.
The conference will bring together academics, researchers and metal working practitioners to look at and analyse the stability and design of metal structures, particularly in steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Participants will be able to learn about recent achievements in the advancement of knowledge and understanding in the field of metal instability, as well as share the latest trends and developments.
This year’s conference will look particularly at advances in the analysis or design of stability problems involving more than one mode. The central theme will be buckling of metal or metal-composite structures.
