The three Scorpion crocodile style electrode holders are part of the Huntsman range of welding products. They are available in 200, 400 and 600A versions.
According to the company, the copper jaws provide good contact with the welding electrode, while the red cap holder is fully insulated to protect the welder.
The black resin handle and electrode release lever are also said to make the units comfortable to use and minimise fatigue during electrode insertion.
The 200A version is recommended for use with up to 5mm diameter electrodes. The 400A version is recommend for use with up to 6mm electrodes, while the 600A version is recommended for use with up to 8mm electrodes.
