The manufacturer claims the 300 series of flux-cored arc welding gas shielded wire costs less and is high quality stainless steel with the appearance of the premium brilliant stainless steel wires.
According to the company, the new line of flux-cored wires makes use of new formulation and manufacturing technologies. It performs on both all-position and flat and horizontal welding.
The wires are said to have good feedability to reduce downtime and operator cost. The random wound wire also has a higher deposition rate than solid wire and electrodes, said to reduce labour, overhead and material cost.
The Stoody brand is part of Thermadyne, which is distributed in Australia by Cigweld.
