Han’s laser trio released

The Draco laser generator is said to offer greater control over both the laser frequency and wavelength. HAN’S Laser Technology has announced the world’s first fully tuneable end-pumped diode laser generator, as well as several new laser systems.
The Draco laser generator is said to offer greater control over both the laser frequency and wavelength. This allows the beam to mark a broader range of materials compared to conventional YAG or fibre marking systems.
The modular unit is said to be ‘shoebox-sized’, allowing it to be integrated into a variety of industrial applications. It is also the first laser generator from Han’s with both an infrared and visible beam output.
The company has also released a quad fibre welding system in the form of the Orion IV. It allows up to four welding workstations to be operated form a single laser generator. Each workstation can be configured to support a variety of welding applications, and more workstations can be added later.
Another new product is the CB Series industrial laser engraver/cutter. The laser cabinet has a high performance servo drive/motor, X-Y gantry motion system and 50 or 100 watt metal carbon dioxide lasers.
