Heavy-duty precision plasma cutter

The tru-kut plasma cutting system is said to provide for high precision machining due to the rigidity of the frame and mounting surfaces.AKS Cutting Systems has released a heavy-duty plasma cutting system with a fully welded steel frame.
The tru-kut plasma cutting system is said to provide for high precision machining due to the rigidity of the frame and mounting surfaces. It uses digitally controlled brushless servo motors and a precision motion system with helical ground rack and pinions. It has a uni-frame design for a compact footprint, and is said to install without needing special floor preparation.
The plasma cutter uses Edge Ti CNC alongside a touch screen graphics display for programming. The software includes true shape nesting and remote diagnostics and help capability, and is said to be designed for plasma cutting applications.
The air down draft cutting table includes three clean out doors on each side for cleaning purposes, and a parts catcher can catch small parts which fall through the cutting slats.
