Low-stress cabling for robotic welding

The Unicables can be bought separately as replacement if the originals become worn. TREGASKISS has released a low-stress cabling technology for thru-arm robotic welding systems, said to improve weld quality and productivity.

According to the company, its Tough Gun ThruArm series has Low Stress Robotic Unicable technology which lowers downtime and improves welding performance.

The Unicables have a rotating power connection which relieves the stress from routine torsion, and a protective conduit shields the cable components from harsh welding environments.

The product is available as a complete package for both clutch and solid-mount robotic systems, including those made by Fanuc, OTC Daihen, ABB and Motoman.

The Unicables can be bought separately as replacement if the originals become worn. They can be installed on other brands of air-cooled robotic guns used by thru-arm robots.

Selected Tregaskiss products are distributed in Australia by Welding Industries of Australia.
