Multi-profile rolling machine
POWER Machinery is distributing a sheet metal profiling machine that can roll different profiles quickly.
Traditionally, roofing and building companies had to use a variety of fixed single roller machines to manufacture different profiles from sheet metal.
According to the company, the Quadro profiling machine can roll various roof and wall profiles with fast conversion times because of its ten roller units and pivoting and interchangeable cassettes.
The machine has a control system and electrically operated cross-cutting disc shears, enabling it to process pre-selected lengths and quantities in full automation mode.
The interchangeable cassettes are available in pivoting or non-pivoting mode, depending on profile requirements. Profiles achievable with this system include standing seam, snap seam, nail strip, U-profile, and soffit panel.
The machine takes strips with widths from 300mm to 800mm. It handles material thicknesses in non-ferrous metals from 0.6mm to 0.8mm, and operates on sheet steel 0.5mm to 0.7mm thick, or stainless steel 0.4mm to 0.5mm thick.
The unit measures 3.1m by 1.7m and is 1.2m high. Standard parts include a beading device, longitudinal cutting for fitting panels and an uncoiling reel. Optional parts include a buckling roller set for concave panels, and an interchangeable non-pivoting cassette with 12 roller units.
