Waterjet intensifier pump saves water and power

The 100hp X-Stream xP90-100 waterjet pump produces pressures of around 90,000psi, as opposed to the traditional 60,000psiJET Edge has released a waterjet intensifier pump said to provide faster cutting speeds for metal parts and lower operating costs than normal pumps.
The 100hp X-Stream xP90-100 waterjet pump produces pressures of around 90,000psi, as opposed to the traditional 60,000psi. This 50% increase in pressure is said to result in a corresponding increase in productivity.
The pump supports a 75,000pis continuous operating pressure. According to the manufacturer, this uses 30% less water, 30% less power, and up to 50% less abrasive. They also typically reduce taper by up to 0.0254mm.
The X-stream produces flow rates of 5.49 litres per minute, and supports up to a 0.4318mm orifice.
Jet Edge waterjet products are distributed in Australia by Cridland Cutting Systems.
