LINCOLN Electric Australia says it will focus on a Documented Cost Reduction Program for welding firms during the National Manufacturing Week.
According to Lincoln Electric, its Documented Cost Reduction (DCR) program analyses all aspects of welding operations, in order to provide companies with cost savings. The program includes on-site evaluation and consultations.
Factors studied by the Lincoln Electric Documented Cost Reduction program include wire feed speed, travel speed and transfer mode. The DCR program checks to see if welding processes can be enhanced, or replaced with alternative processes to save on costs and reduce clean-up time and downtime.
The Lincoln Electric Documented Cost Reduction program can also slash consumable and energy consumption. It determines if weld design changes can reduce welding costs.
Lincoln Electric Australia will provide interactive presentations about the Documented Cost Reduction program at its National Manufacturing Week stand.
