WEILER has released two new flap wheels with aggressive cutting action to increase productivity in industrial production environments.
According to the company, the Tiger flap wheels are suited for medium to high production environments, said to have a high cut rate and long life. The lower cost Vortec line also has a high cut rate and is designed for medium production environments.
The company claims its flap wheels have a solid hub construction, allowing them to be used at higher speeds. The hub is also said to contribute to a smooth and chatter-free finishing.
The flap wheels can be used for cleaning, edge blending, deburring, and mismatch removal on machined parts, dies, moulds, tools, tubings and channels. They can also smooth and provide final finishes on metal surfaces, as well as priming prior to painting and plating.
