Submerged arc welding electrodes

the Select EM12KS and EH12KS are suited for welding carbon and low alloy steelsSELECT-Arc has released two tubular metal cored electrodes designed for submerged arc welding.
The Select EM12KS and EH12KS are suited for welding carbon and low alloy steels. Both electrodes use a cored wire design said to deliver higher deposition rates than solid wire when using the same current level.
They are also said to give better bead penetration control and can reduce burn-through on root passes or poorly fit up joints.
EH12KS has higher manganese and silicon content than EM12KS, for use in applications with rust and mill scale. Both electrodes can be used with neutral or active fluxes, and can be substituted for solid wire.
