Tungsten electrode grinder gives consistent arcs

The machine grinds electrodes longitudinally to eliminate the circumferential lines and ridges that can cause the welding arc to flicker and wander.PERFECT Welding Products has released a Huntingdon Fusion Techniques tungsten electrode grinder which grinds electrodes from 0.25mm up to 6mm without stalling or burning out.
The Techweld TEG-3 grinder has a high-powered motor that has a lifetime guarantee. It runs from either 110V or 220V single-phase supply at 50Hz.
According to the company, the grinding head is mounted at the 6 o’clock position so dust is expelled downwards toward the vacuum collection point, allowing a clear view of the grinding process.
The machine grinds electrodes longitudinally to eliminate the circumferential lines and ridges that can cause the welding arc to flicker and wander. This allows electrodes ground with the TEG-3 to be used with mechanised welding.
The manufacturer claims the tip shape produced by the grinder allows precise positioning of the arc for manual welding.
The diamond wheel is said to give three years of grinding life, and can be replaced when worn out.
