Welder generator with enclosed case
LINCOLN Electric has released a new version of its AC/DC welder generator with an enclosed case for engine protection.
The Ranger 225 GXT provides 225 amps of welding output and 10,500W peak single-phase AC generator power.
According to the company, the enclosed case provides additional protection for rugged onsite welding applications. It also contains the operational vibrations, resulting in lower noise levels than partially enclosed or unenclosed welders of comparable size and output.
The manufacturer claims extra protection and easy service access is provided by three engine doors.
The welder can be used for stick, TIG, MIG and flux-cored welding as well as arc gouging. Its AC/DC welding output is designed for a range of stick electrodes.
The AC generator is also suited for meeting high frequency needs such as powering a plasma cutter or inverter welder, serving as back-up power generator or operating power tools such as lights or a grinder.
