MULTICAM Systems has announced the release of its fully automatic material handling system for its range of Heavy Duty SR series CNC Routing machines.According to Multicam Systems, the manual handling of heavy and cumbersome sheet material on to and off flat bed CNC routing machines has always been an issue, as sheets of material are easily damaged during handling or transport.
The company says the Multicam material handling system incorporates an automatic indexing table, automatic material loading arm, automatic material unloading arm and automatic off loading conveyor table.
Multicam Systems, the supplier of the fully Australian made range of Multicam CNC Routing machines, says through use of the new units production can be increased, operator fatigue greatly reduced and the risk of injury to the operator virtually eliminated.
Multicam SR series machines are said to be available in a range of sizes including 2,400 by 1,200, 2,400 by 1,800, and 3,600 by 1,800 as well as twin bed systems. All of which can be supplied with the automated material handling option.
