Farley Laserlab’s new Fabricator XRP plasma drilling and milling machine

The Fabricator XRP plasma, drilling and milling machine is Farley Laserlab’s next generation complete plate processing system, with independent sub-axis drilling technology designed to produce complex parts, to finished quality, straight off the table.

The Fabricator XRP can accurately mill diameters of up to 350 mm while the plate is clamped. It combines the very best cutting, marking and drilling technologies to produce complex parts without the need for 2nd and 3rd operations, achieving a new level of production efficiency.

This user-friendly machine delivers faster machining times because the sub-axis allows the drill head to reposition the tool for continuous, uninterrupted machining – without retracting the clamp and moving the machine main axis. The advantages of this technology means the drilling speed can be increased by 100%, providing improved cycle times and impressive return on investment.

Utilising Hypertherm’s new HPR400XD HyDefinition plasma (capable of piercing 50mm MS) coupled with the new sub axis technology the Fabricator XRP sets a new industry standard. Already, Fabricator XRP customers in Australia and the US are reaping in the benefits from this cutting edge technology, giving them that competitive advantage over the competition.
