JTM Products has released a high performance metalworking coolant, said to be formulated for high pressure applications.

High pressure applications traditionally create foam control problems, but the manufacturer claims its Koolrite 2365 coolant provides enhanced control over foaming.

The coolant contains mineral oil and extreme pressure additives. It can be used with cast iron, all steels, and non-ferrous metals, with the exception of magnesium. It performs best on aluminium.

The chemical will not stain non-ferrous metals and has good corrosion protection for ferrous metals. It is also resistant to bacterial and fungal growth, and does not remove paint.

SealTite International distributes JTM Products’ chemicals in Australia.
