MILLER Electric has released a TIG welder for steel, stainless steel and aluminium, which has only two controls.
The Diversion 165 AC/DC TIG welder is said to have the fewest controls of any TIG welder ever released and weighs 23kg.
The unit has a power range from ten to 165A, as well as a rating of 150A at 207 duty cycle. It uses a 230V single-phase three-pronged plug.
According to the manufacturer, the welder is particularly useful for automotive manufacturing applications, especially the creation of specialist motorsport components.
The product also comes with a 68-page “TIG Welding for Dummies” book and an instructional DVD.
