EPITECH has extended its ARCFIX range of stud welding products, with the addition of stud welded wear studs.
The new ARCFIX wear studs are suited for equipment which engage the ground, in order to reduce wear on abraded surfaces. They are used in underground mining, quarries, maintenance shops and ore preparation plants.
According to the company, welding the studs is quick and precise, with reduced heat requirements mitigating the risks of warping. Once welded on, the studs will not pop off, even if buckets or plates buckle.
The ARCFIX wear studs comply with Australian Standards and maintain a core hardness of about 55HRc after welding.
