Corrosion-resistant electrodes for harsh environments

SELECT-Arc has released two nickel-chromium-molybdenum electrodes for corrosion resistance in harsh environments.
The SelectAlloy 625-AP is an all position, gas-shielded, flux cored electrode used to weld alloys 625, 601, 820 and 9% nickel. The alloys can be welded to themselves or to steel.
The electrode can also be used to clad steel in corrosion-resistant applications such as where parts are to be used in heat exchangers or offshore and marine environments.
The Selectalloy 625C is a metal cored, nickel alloy electrode which is immune to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking. It is resistive to corrosive attacks from other types of media. It can be used for welding piping systems, reactor components in the power industry, and high temperature servicing.
