Drilling-free assembly for machine guards

The Jokab Quickguard system is said to use 44 by 44mm or 44 by 88mm thick walled aluminium profiles which are locked together with external cast aluminium brackets. PRODUCTS For Industry says it is now stocking machine guards which require no drilling for installation.
Machine guards are particularly important for ensuring safety in the metal working industry, where machines apply great force for cutting, bending, shaping and finishing metal.
The Jokab Quickguard system is said to use 44 by 44mm or 44 by 88mm thick walled aluminium profiles which are locked together with external cast aluminium brackets. It takes both mesh and polycarbonate panels.
The locking system uses a quarter turn ‘T’ nut locking mechanism, eliminating the need for drilling during installation. To assemble the system, a drop saw, cordless driver and hammer drill can be used for foot bracket fixture.
The company says it can provide installation and guarding for large-scale projects. Its guard system can be customised for applications and transported on pallets.
