Metal recycler enhances operations with weighbridge
METAL recycler
Future Metals has commissioned a weighbridge for receiving scrap metal at its Dandenong South plant.
The 18 by 3.5m weighbridge was supplied by
Ultrahawke, and fitted into a pit with the deck at ground level for truck access.
The weighbridge is fitted with exposed metal beams and has a weighing capacity of 60,000kg. It uses six Flintec www.flintec.com stainless steel load cells, and is connected to a
Rinstrum 5000 digital weight indicator and D740 remote display.
According to the company, the weighbridge will help it work more efficiently and effectively in gathering scrap metals for its recycling processes.
